CHAC Norte Featured Artists starting Nov 15
Rob Yancey
Rob
Yancey began as a self taught wood carver, who enjoys studying and
creating Spanish Colonial art.Throughout this whole process Rob has
stuck with his goal to produce art work in a non-dualistic mindset and
allow the Creator to touch those who are searching for their identity
and purpose, even when they appear to have no soul. Creating something
sacred out of wood is what inspires Rob to keep carving. Rob now
studies under master carvers Joe Sikora and Bob Zettler.
Recently, Rob started primative folk painting as a way to express the
beautiful landscapes he sees as he travels throughout Colorado and New
Mexico. He is currently working on a sereis of paintings titled Slices
of Life.

Tammy Yancey
I
create jewelry that is inspired by my love of nature, culture, and the
gorgeous colors I see along the way of life, both past and present.
Wearable pieces of art using precious metals, semi precious stones,
handcrafted beads and lots of love!

Michael Penney
Michael's
artwork reflects the custom beliefs and artistry of ancient
civilizations. He combines the natural beauty of stone and the
expressive texture of deep relief sand carvings. See his unique
sandblasting techniques in CHAC Norte this month.

between himself and God.
